家に帰ってiPad触っていると嫁で出てきて「あ、それですか。ちょっとだけ見せてくださいよ」と。で、30秒ほど触って第一声「こ れ、ほしい。買って。」。

苦節５年弱、数々のデジタルガジェットを見せつけてきて、こんなに嬉しい言葉は初めてです。まさに勝利の瞬間です。過去5年間、どんな高性能なデジ カメも、iPhone含む様々な携帯電話も、音が異様にいいノイズキャンセリングなヘッドホンも、ネットブックも、ブルーレイも、何を見せても「ほしい」 と言わなかった嫁が…もっと言っておこう。テレビとか例えば貴金属とかもろもろ、デジタル系以外のありとあらゆるものに対して「買う？」と聞いて「別にい らない」と言っていた嫁（私の記憶では「明確に欲しい」と言って買ったのはキッチンの台ぐらいかな）が、たった30秒でiPadに陥落！！その後しばらく 触りながら「これはいつ日本で発売されるんですか？これあれば（今使っている）ノートPCいらないや」「これ買うためにハワイ行くわ、なるほど」とのこ と。（実話）
